Wireless cell phone service recommendation

Ting rules.  I've been with them since August 2015. They resell Sprint for CDMA phones and T-Mobile for GSM phones. You can have a single shared plan for your family and pay $6 per device plus shared increments of $3 or $6 for voice, text, and data. The beauty is that your usage is pooled and fine-tuned. So for two of us with low usage (256 Mb, 11 messages, 39 minutes) we pay a total of just $30/month plus a couple dollars of taxes and fees. And there are no tethering charges if you have a smartphone with hotspot capability. You can bring your own phone by simply purchasing Ting's $10 SIM card
